HOW TO ORDER YOUR KILT

To order a kilt you'll usually need to make a couple of visits to the home of Crimson Kilts in Tillicoultry - approximately a one hour drive from Glasgow, Edinburgh or Dundee.

  • Contact Lesley for an initial chat to discuss your requirements and arrange an appointment.
  • During your first visit you will be guided through the selection of your tartan and the various pleating options for your kilt. All necessary measurements will be taken at this stage.​
  • Once your kilt has been pleated, shaped and partially stitched you'll be invited back for a mid-fitting. Any adjustments will be made at this stage to ensure a perfect fit.
  • Within two weeks your kilt should be completed and ready for collection. 
  • We recommend to allow 10 -12 weeks from your initial enquiry to the completion of your kilt. 
A deposit is required prior to ordering your fabric, the full balance due for payment on completion and before collection.
All fabrics and kilts remain the property of Crimson Kilts until full payment is received.​
